What this is
- A free test. Nothing is matched or booked yet. Signing up just tells us you're interested.
- If enough people sign up on both sides, we'll launch a simple free list this winter and let you know. If not, we'll say so and delete the sign-ups.
- We'll contact you only about this launch. No newsletters, no selling your info.
- No payments, ever. We won't take money, deposits or commission. People would deal with each other directly.

Snow clearing, odd jobs, side gigs, full-time or part-time. Listing would be free.
Stay safe in the meantime
- Never send a deposit by e-transfer to someone you haven't met or checked. Scammers have used snow-clearing groups to take e-transfers and disappear.
- Pay after the work is done, and get the price in writing (a text is fine) first.
- We will never ask you for money or banking details. If someone says they're from this list and asks for payment, it isn't us.

What we collect
Which side you signed up on, job types, town(s), email and/or phone, and for snow clearing whether you'd want it one-time or all season. Workers also give insured yes/no and the "would you pay" answer. To stop spam we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address for one day. No ads, no tracking cookies.
How we use it
Only to count interest and to contact you about whether and when this directory launches. We don't share it with workers, homeowners or anyone else, and we never sell it.
Where it's stored
On Cloudflare, which runs this site and its database and may store data outside Canada, including in the United States.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
Until the launch decision this winter. If we don't launch, we delete it. If we do, we'll ask before adding you to the real list. To delete your sign-up or get a copy at any time, email cody@harbourflow.ca with the email or phone you used.
